Anne Sayers joined the 90 club with her birthday on June 2. Sayers, a former school teacher at Tallassee High School, was joined by family and friends for a celebration at Riverside Heights Baptist Church.

Promotions

SMSgt Woodrow Ruff was raised in Little Texas, Ala. and graduated high school from Notasulga High School in 1998. He joined the Air Force in 2003 as a Materiel Manager and has deployed on multiple occasions in support of Operations New Dawn and Enduring Freedom.

SMSgt Ashley Strong graduated from Tallassee High School in 2002 and joined the Air Force in 2006. She is currently serving as a Squadron Superintendent and has deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Both are currently stationed together in Illinois and recently were selected to promotion to Chief Master Sergeant. This rank is the top one percent of the enlisted force.
