Mrs. Judith Diane “Judy” Heaton, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at the age of 82. She was born in Tallassee, Alabama, February 22, 1942, to Elbert B. and Evelyn Benton Price.

Mrs. Heaton is survived by her children, Kim Daar (Chuck), Lane Carden (Matt), Randall Price (Amanda) and Terry Price (Linda); grandchildren, Blake Daar (Amanda), Courtney Mason (Chris), Samantha Rogers (Johnothan), Josh Redden (Gracie), David Price (Jerney), Leeann Tooke (William), Jessica Price, Lance Price, Christina Chandler (JoJo) and Jason Phillips (Blair); seventeen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, James “Leroy” Heaton; parents, Elbert and Evelyn Price and her brother, Ronald Price.

Judy enjoyed shopping and going out to eat; however, her favorite pastime was working outside with her flowers. She attended Reeltown Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends Friday, July 12, 2024, from 10:00AM until service time at 11:00AM at Elam Baptist Church, Rev. John Eisdmoe officiating. Burial will follow in Elam Baptist Church Cemetery. Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing.
