Mrs. Jessica “Paulette” Windle, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at the age of 77. She was born January 21, 1947, in Tallassee, Alabama, to Jessie Charles and Muriel James Stewart.

Mrs. Windle is survived by her husband of 58 years, Joe “Joie” Windle; son, Christopher Scott Windle; sisters, Jane Taylor and Libby Baker; brother, Chuck Stewart (Alisa); two granddaughters, Lexie Windle and Ashleigh Windle.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Muriel Stewart and her brother, Chris Stewart.

Mrs. Windle retired from the Civil Service after sixteen years of service. She was an exceptional cook, a gifted artist and creator and loved to travel the world with her husband, Joie. Above all, Paulette was a loving Grandmother and was known by most as “Nana.”

There will be a Celebration of Life Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 11:00AM from the First Baptist Church, Reeltown. The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until service time.
