City fills openings for interim period

The City of Tallassee has interim officials in place for two personnel openings.

Blake Moon is serving as building inspector. Todd Buce is acting police chief. Andy Coker was the previous inspector. Matthew Higgins was chief.

City Councilman Bill Hall sent out an update to consitituents of Ward 4 regarding the changes.

"Blake is serving until which time a permanent selection is made to fill this position," Hall noted. "We are still accepting applications for this position."

Hall said that the opening for police chief has yet to be advertised.
