Levett to play for Tuskegee
By Michael Butler
Tallassee Tigers senior Kalvin Levett will soon be a Tuskegee Tiger. Levett chose Tuskegee over other college offers to extend his football career.
"First, I would like to thank God for giving me the talent and the opportunities I have today," Levett posted on Twitter. "I would also like to thank my family for everything they've done for me. Without them, I would not be the young man I am today.
"Lastly, but definitely not least - my coaches I thank for keeping my head on straight and putting me in the best postion I could possibly be in."
Levett, a multiple sport athlete, was an all-purpose player on the football field at THS. He moved from wide receiver to quarterback for his senior season and played in the secondary on defense. He is a two-time Alabama Sports Writers Association all-state selection.
