She is survived by her daughters, Jamie Taylor and Jennifer Taylor, who carry forward her legacy of love and strength. Her grandchildren—Ja’twon D. Griffin, Ma’Kiyah C. Cobb, Cali L. Cobb and great-grandson, Jace Griffin—were a continual source of joy and pride to her. Kathryne’s family circle also includes her brothers, Michael J. Williams, Barry K. Her love for Elvis revealed a playful and joyous side, a connection to a timeless era that brought unmistakable sparkle to her life.

Ealy Ray Baker, a devoted husband, father, and longtime member of the Tallassee community, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2026. Born on December 11, 1946, in Tallassee, Alabama, Ray lived a life marked by steadfast dedication to his family, his faith, and his career.
Mr. Baker’s professional journey was distinguished by over forty years of service with Alabama Power, where he was known for his commitment and work ethic. Beyond his profession, Ray was a faithful member of Providence Primitive Baptist Church, where he found spiritual fulfillment and community.
Ray was a man who cherished the simple joys of life. He loved fishing, found enthusiasm in cheering for the Auburn Tigers and listening to the Auburn University Marching Band. He took great delight in watching his grandchildren play ball—moments that brought him immense happiness and pride.
His proudest accomplishments were being a faithful husband and a loving father and grandfather. He leaves behind a beloved wife, Vicki Oliver Baker, whose partnership was a source of strength and love throughout his life. Together with his former wife Karen, he and Vicki raised a close-knit family that carries forward his legacy.
Surviving him are his four children: Amy Jeter (Chuck), Ken Baker, Arthur Oliver, and Jennifer Whittington (Chris). As a testament to his love for his family, Ray lovingly served as a father figure to his brother Andy’s children, Jeff and Lisa.
Ray’s family circle also includes his cherished grandchildren—Ashton Baker, Ashley Jeter (Andria), Quinton Jeter (Kristen), Beau Baker, Eli Whittington, and Abram Whittington—as well as several great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his beloved wife of sixty-five years, Bernice Parker Boulware, whose steadfast partnership was the cornerstone of his existence. Edgar is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Robin Lamberth; his parents, Edgar Earl and Carleene Moore Lamberth; his daughter, Penny Segrest; his brother, Floyd Lamberth; and his grandson, Keith Segrest. Their memories remain a cherished part of his story.
