Mixson to be inducted into Hall of Fame

Tallassee head basketball coach Keiven Mixson will be among three honorees to be enshrined into the 2022 Class of the Faulkner Athletics Hall of Fame, the school announced in a press release on Aug. 16. Mixson joins Doug Amos and Treives Henry in this year's class.

Mixson played for the Eagles from 1988-1992. He is the program's all-time leader in three pointers made with 248. He is one of only two players with more than 200 threes.

He score 1,308 points in his career ranking him ninth overall at Faulkner.

Mixson has been Tallassee's head coach since 2017 and has compiled an 85-41 record.
 
The Faulkner Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2022 induction ceremony and banquet wil be on Friday, Oct. 7 at 6 p.m. in the college's Rotunda Auditorium.
