Blocker 2nd team all-state

The Alabama Sports Writers Association has released its all-state baseball teams. Tallassee has one selection.
Will Blocker was named to the Class 5A second team as a designated hitter. Blocker was a junior this past season.
"(This) is a well deserved accomplishment for Will," THS head coach Adam Clayton said. "He comes to get better everyday and the work paid off."
He hit .362 with 31 hits and 23 RBIs.
Blocker is the Tigers' fifth all-state selection over the past five years.
