A town hall meeting is being held on Tuesday, March 17 at the Mount Vernon Performing Arts Center. It will begin at 6 p.m.

Bill Patterson is coordinating the event. Patterson stated that some of the conversation will focus on acquisitions of city properties including the airport.

“If you come, you’ll get answers,” he said.

Patterson has filed a lawsuit regarding the recent sale of the city airport and adjacent property. It is slated for a March 30 court date.

“We want the airport back,” Patterson said.

Patterson encourages the attendance of city dignitaries, past and present. All attending will have an opportunity to express their opinions on city affairs as well.
