THS Announces Dates for Parking Passes, Football Tickets

By Michael Butler

Tallassee High School has set dates for parking permit applications and reserved seating for home football games. The first day of school will be on Aug. 7.

High school students may apply for parking permits beginning with the senior class from July 21-24. Junior class applications will be accepted from July 28-31. The price is $40 per pass.

Payment is required with a completed permit application.

“All debts owed to the school, including lost textbooks, damaged iPads and music department fees, must be taken care of before a parking permit will be issued,” the school noted in the release. “A parent must sign his/her student’s parking permit application, along with the student’s signature, before an application will be issued.”

A copy of the student’s driver’s license and proof of insurance must also be presented with the application.

“It is very important to note that parents and students understand that parking on campus is a privilege,” the school further noted, “and can be taken away at the discretion of the principal at any time.”
