*UPDATE: Suspect is in custody after turning himself in to authorities.

Authorities are searching for the whereabouts of a suspect wanted for attempted murder. The Tallapoosa County Sherriff’s Office put out a release through CrimeStoppers.

Ja’Zarian Keante Gray, a black male, is alleged to be involved in an incident that occurred on March 28 at Ashurst Bar Road in Tallassee.

According to investigators, Gray was driving a black 1998 Dodge Ram pickup truck and shot into an occupied vehicle. The vehicle Gray was driving had an Alabama license plate numbered 7629BM5.
