Tallassee City Schools has begun advertising the job of high school principal to be open at the end of the current school year. Drew Glass served in the position for the past four years.
“Due to circumstances out of my control, I will not be back at Tallassee High School next year,” Glass posted after the Feb. 18 school board meeting. “I have enjoyed my time here. I love my faculty, staff, and students. I hope they all know that I genuinely care for them and have always had their best interest at heart.” I have built some great relationships here along the way. Let’s finish this year strong! “

Information regarding the position was posted this week on the school’s Facebook page.
“(The) Tallassee City Board of Education is seeking a dedicated High School Principal to lead our students and staff to success. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for education, and experience in school administration.”
