The Tallassee MLK Committee will host its annual Martin Luther King Day March on Monday, Jan. 20. Marchers will meet at 10 a.m. in the parking lot of the First Methodist Church on Jordan Avenue. The march will end at God’s Congregation Church.

A program will follow at the church starting at 11 with Charles Blalock serving as Master of Ceremonies. Tallassee head football coach and athletic director Lawrence (L.A.) O’Neal will be the guest speaker. Lunch will be provided afterwards.
