The Mount Vernon Performing Arts Center made a reopening splash in December with its Christmas movie series. With the new year here, the film “Reagan” will kick things off in January.
“We are busy working to make 2025 an unforgettable year,” MVPAC co-owner Joey Wiginton said in a Facebook post. “Many have asked, ‘what’s next?’ Here it is. This was not shown in the Montgomery market. Come see this cinematic journey of the life of our 40th president. This will go on your list as one of the best movies you have seen in a long time.”

The movie will be shown Thursday-Saturday, Jan. 16-18, at 7 p.m. each night. Doors will open at 6. Tickets will be sold at the door and via the MVPAC website.
“We wanted to thank you Tallassee for the support during the Christmas season. We have more plans coming soon. See you at the movies.”
